About the Page
Welcome to the ‘Riding with a Local’ website. It started with a few videos of riding destinations in the Milwaukee area, but the overwhelming response from viewers inspired me to broaden the horizons beyond Milwaukee. My vision is to create a community where riders from across the country can present enjoyable rides in their locale, so others can share these experiences firsthand.
While I’ll continue to create more videos of rides in the Milwaukee area, I want to invite you to consider a favorite local ride that you’d like to showcase. If this idea resonates with you, reach out, and we can embark on this journey together. As always, wishing you safe and rewarding travels.

About Your Host
My journey with motorcycles began in 1976, igniting a passion that would define my life. With my first new motorcycle in 1995, my Harley-Davidson dealer told me about something called H.O.G. (Harley Owners Group). It was here that I found a community who shared my enthusiasm for riding. It’s also where I discovered that I enjoyed planning, organizing, and leading rides for my friends. Something that would serve me well for years to come.
In 2003 I had the opportunity to join the Harley-Davidson Motor Company as a H.O.G Regional manager for the northeast United States. Over the years my role expanded to include serving as the H.O.G. International Manager covering Asia and Latin America, as well as providing support to H.O.G. in Canada, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. Presently my focus is the eastern U.S.
Working with riders from half the world to plan rides – as well as some rather large national events – I’ve seen that the passion for riding knows no borders or language. That there’s more that connects us than separates us, and that we are all looking for the next destination. That’s why I’m going to continue to explore new areas and create rides to share with others. I’d like to invite you to do the same.
For now be well, ride safe, and I’ll see you down the road.
